Happy Sunday ya'll!!! :-) I thought about blogging twice a week but then I said hey why not Sundays too?! He he......Today I actually wanted to write about submission..not sexual submission but as the bible teaches that wives should submit to their husbands and husbands to God.I think it's the most beautiful description of what a marriage should look like and the roles that we play.Now growing up in this era,where a lot women including myself grew up feeling that they run their life and honestly I've looked at being submissive as being weak and not having a voice.However what I'm learning from scripture as well as from experience is that we were created man and woman to live these roles.
It's not by any means an easy feat trying to train your mind to live in submission and as important it is for us as women to learn that I believe it's ten times more important for men....husbands...fathers to understand that your role is a great one.I think the beauty in being a submissive wife is having faith that your husband will treat you as good as his body and respect you as he does God.It's that confidence in knowing that this man will not abuse the role which makes it easier to play the role of wife.
Knowing what I do from different religions and cultures where we see women being abused and being made to feel lesser because these men have taken what is meant to be an uplifting role and demeaning it for their own comforts.....I can understand why women are perhaps squeamish to say the least.That's why we need our men to be the man that God speaks of....the man that is to treat his wife as himself....with the same love,care and attention that he bestows on himself.Because which of us would willingly hurt our own body?.Woman was made from the rib of man.....for that purpose.

Ephesians 5:23-25---For the husband is the head if the wife,even as Christ is the head of the church and he is the saviour of the body.Therefore as the church is in subject unto Christ,so let the wives be to their own husband in everything.Husbands love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it.
